Post-surgery care

from₱150/hr

That’s the platform floor, not an average — caregivers set their own rates, never below it.

Recovery support at home after an operation — wound-care assistance, help moving safely, medication reminders, and a watchful eye for anything that is not healing right. It carries the highest hourly floor on Kalingap, because the work asks the most skill.

How we check

Trust you can read, line by line.

  • Checks with names on them

No caregiver on Kalingap wears a vague “verified” tick. Each badge names the check that ran — NBI checked, ID matched, Interviewed — so you know exactly what stands behind it.

  • 3 documents before anyone can apply

Government ID front and back and an NC II Caregiving certificate — reviewed by our team, followed by an interview, before a caregiver can take a single job.

  • You pay your caregiver directly

Kalingap never holds your money and takes no cut. The rate you agree in the app is what your caregiver receives — and both of you keep the record of every visit.

Questions

Asked before booking.

Magkano ang caregiver pagkatapos ng operasyon?

Post-surgery caregivers set their own rates, never below ₱150 an hour — the highest hourly floor on Kalingap, because the work asks the most skill. You pay your caregiver directly, and Kalingap takes no cut.

What can a post-surgery caregiver help with?

Wound-care assistance, safe transfers and walking, medication reminders, and watching for warning signs. They support the recovery your doctor prescribed — medical decisions stay with your doctor.

How are caregivers verified?

Three documents — government ID front and back and an NC II Caregiving certificate — reviewed by our team, then an interview, before anyone can take a job. Badges name each check that ran; an NC II badge means the caregiver holds the caregiving certificate, worth looking for here.

When can care start?

Post-surgery care can be booked for later today or scheduled ahead — so you can arrange it before a planned operation and have someone ready on discharge day. Visits run from six hours.
